Talk:
On May 24, 2005, Ryan McBride spoke to the Calgary Unix Users Group about OpenBSD's packet filter, PF. A broad overview of PF's features was presented, with special attention paid to newer and more unique features and how these can be used together effectively for DoS mitigation, high availability, and load balancing. Approximately 60 OpenBSD developpers turned up to heckle and answer questions.

Ryan McBride gave a talk on Network Stack Randomness at BSDCan, which was held in in Ottawa from May 13 to 14, 2005. BSDCan is a technical conference for people working on 4.4BSD based operating systems and related projects.
